The MEWSEUM: Friend Mew!
Hello friends. Thank you for coming to this no-shit-giving random show presented by MEW3. As many of you guys can tell, this show, The MEWseum: Friend Mew! uses a museum-setting to feature some fake research and art works of a super-natural creature MewMew. Certainly, I want to introduce my original character MewMew the imaginary character to the public through this informative, tiny exhibition. I believe that MewMew has been around in the air and in my mind since I created it. It was over ten years ago when I was in elementary school that I came up with this character, although at first, it was only a vague character design of an orange tabby cat that I always wanted to have as a pet. And later the cat-girl character Tachibana Mew (shown in the paintings, illustrations, and in my yearly postcards) was also created. I made stories for them, and developed more and more characters as friends to MewMew and Tachibana Mew. They are like my imaginary friends, always there with me when I am lonely, but no one else can see them. It is one of the ways how I deal with loneliness. What does this project do to others? Hey, I don’t care. It shows the state of my mind, an ambitious, ridiculous, and lunatic thought of wanting to be friends with everyone and be happy all the time. Longing for connection meanwhile scared AF. I hope the silly MewMews make you happy, like how they have entertained and comforted me.
